I. Responsibility for Payment of Duties and Taxes
For international orders, the consignee (recipient) of the package is responsible for all duties and import taxes arising upon delivery. These duties and taxes are not pre-calculated or charged when you place your order on our store. The recipient must pay them directly to Customs upon receiving the order.
II. Amount of Import Duty
The amount of customs duty varies from country to country and is solely determined by the tariff policies of the recipient’s country.
Please note that our international shipping options include USPS First Class. The amount of customs duty will depend on your country’s customs regulations. When shipping via USPS First Class, we typically declare an invoice value between $20 USD and $150 USD and mark the package as a gift. This helps minimize the import duty imposed by customs, though it is ultimately subject to your country’s tariff policy.
III. Measures to Reduce Import Taxes
If you have specific requirements regarding the declared invoice value, please contact us at [email protected]. We will adjust the declared value according to your instructions. If no specific instructions are provided, we usually set the declared value between $20 USD and $150 USD, depending on the weight and size of the package.
IV. Handling of Customs Clearance Issues
If your package encounters any customs clearance issues, we will cover the customs clearance fees and provide you with the shipping invoice, which you must present to Customs. Additionally, we will assist you by contacting USPS to resolve the situation.
